What is a Template?

A template is a saved workout routine. It stores the exercises you want to do in a session, so you don't have to add them one by one every time.

For example, you could create a template called "Push Day" with Bench Press, Overhead Press, and Tricep Pushdowns. When you start a workout, just load the template and all your exercises are ready to go.

Tip: Templates also remember your previous weights and reps, so you can see what you lifted last time and aim to beat it.

What is a Plan?

A plan is a collection of templates organized into a training program. Plans let you cycle through your workouts in order so you always know what to do next.

For example, a "3 Day PPL" plan might contain three templates: Push Day, Pull Day, and Leg Day. JustLift tracks which day you're on and shows you the next workout automatically.

AI Plans: You can also use the AI Plan Generator to create a personalized plan in seconds. Just describe your goals and preferences, and AI will build the templates for you.

My Apple Watch Isn't Syncing

If your Apple Watch isn't syncing with JustLift on your iPhone, the most reliable fix is to reinstall the Watch app:

  1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and find JustLift Watch in the list of installed apps.
  3. Tap it, then toggle "Show App on Apple Watch" off.
  4. Wait a few seconds, then toggle it back on.
  5. Wait for the app to reinstall on your Watch (this may take a minute).
  6. Open JustLift on both your iPhone and your Watch.
Important: Make sure both your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected (Bluetooth on, both devices nearby). The Watch app requires the iPhone app to be installed to sync data.

If syncing still doesn't work after reinstalling, try restarting both your iPhone and Apple Watch, then open JustLift on both devices again.
